An antiquarian from Wrocław sold a round table from the interwar period at an auction. This piece of furniture was made of heavy oak wood. It weighed almost 100 kg and transporting it to the other end of Poland was quite a challenge.
The order was given to the MBE company in Wrocław and the manager quickly assessed the situation. Transporting in pieces turned out to be impossible - the risk of damaging the goods was too high. Anyway, the customer preferred to get the table ready to present to her guests. In that case, the MBE employees packed the antique in its entirety, protecting it against scratches. Next, they fastened it on a Euro-pallet.
The most difficult stage was the creation of a wooden structure which was to protect the table against more serious damage. The antique was blocked on the van's create and encased in such a way that the goods carried together would not be any threat.
The experience of the MBE employees guarantees the choice of the best solution possible. We will surely not disregard anything, hoping that everything will be all right.
